Michael P. Korkpor, Esq.



Michael P. Korkpor, Esq. is a Liberian lawyer and professional with over 10 years of diverse experience working in government. Prior to his nomination as Commissioner of LERC, he served in various roles at the Ministry of State for Presidential Affairs/Office of President of Liberia including Special Assistant within the Department of Finance, Economic and Legal Affairs, Special Assistant to the Legal Advisor to the President of Liberia, and Coordinator, Deputy Head and Head of the President’s Delivery Unit.

As Coordinator and Head of the PDU, his team monitored progress, unblocked bottlenecks and drove delivery of the Public Sector Investment Program (PSIP) of Liberia in key energy, roads, port infrastructure, agriculture, health, education and other social programs in Liberia.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Humanities and Arts (Sociology) from the University of Maryland (College Park) and a Law Degree (LL.B) from the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law – University of Liberia. He is admitted as an Attorney-at-Law and a member of the Liberia National Bar Association (LNBA).
